The time to obtain a marriage license varies depending on the next available appointment with State official. It is usually available within a few days. Upon finalizing your marriage and receiving hard copy (paper certificate) of your marriage record - you will need to trigger a name change procedure with your local jurisdiction (usually - local court). We do NOT change anyone's name/surname.

You must be officially legally single, divorced or widowed to be able to get married again. You do not need to provide any documents as long as you are truthful about your civil status. Florida marriage certificate does NOT indicate how may times each spouse has been married, nor the count of this marriage.
